Inventory Early Summer 2022

You may have noticed it has been a long time since we posted! We have been BUSY with installs. Due to that, we have actually done less advertising of our products lately and at the same time we have been adding to our inventory:) We are heading into summer with a good supply of reclaimed materials! And more barns will be coming in this summer. We have 1000’s of square feet of barn siding available now, as well as many types of dimensional barn wood - beams, posts, and joists.

Most of our wood we kiln to kill any bugs in the wood. We stock kilned unmilled reclaimed wood as well as some ready to install planking and shelving.

We are happy to supply DIY customers, new home owners, builders, stores and restaurants, and woodshops that need reclaimed wood for their projects.

We also do custom building and installing. Let us build your faux beams, tables, doors, stair components, countertops, bar cabinets, and more.

Give me a call 715-415-1102 or email me.

I look forward to working with you!

Rustic Table

SOLD We are currently working on a 48x120 table built from reclaimed Commission House timbers. The Commission House is an 1890's warehouse recently remodeled… now apartments over retail.

This custom table has a 2-1/2 thick top over 4 hand hewn posts with a horizontal “trestle" beam.

We build custom reclaimed tables and tops from rustic, cabin / lodge styles to more urban or modern.

We are now taking orders for tables to be completed before the Holidays.

We currently have a great inventory of material to build from. If you are considering building a table yourself, we also sell the material and offer partial or complete milling to make your table assembly easier!

Weathered Grey Planking

Beautiful Weathered Grey Wall Board. Ready to install.

Planking is all from exterior barn siding that was never painted. Great weathered patina! Because we keep our boards at least 5/8” thick we can allow deeper weathering and more patina than is characteristic of other accent wall material (skinny plank).

Reclaimed Barn Wood Doors

We have built a number of barn doors recently. We have been filling customer orders and have also built several to our own specifications.

Below are some examples of what we're building.

If you are interested in one of the doors we have in stock, or would like us to build one to your specs, please call us - we'd love to work with you! We also provide track and offer installation as requested.

A New Year...

...is upon us! With it come many new goals, responsibilities, and opportunities. One of my goals for the New Year is to simplify. Difficult to do when you have more varied lots of barn wood than you can shake a stick at!  So right now we are motivated to sell a number of smaller lots of barn wood that we have accumulated.  If you live in the Eau Claire, WI area or even in Minneapolis, you're within an hour of our shop. Give us a call and set up a time to stop by and look at what we have to offer.

Here are just a few samples of what we have on hand today. Most of these lots are from 80 to 300 square ft. (These are NOT remaining items from larger lots that have been picked though, but are products we took in in smaller quantities)  Please contact us for pricing and availability. Most of these are discounted if you buy the whole lot. You will also find some of these items on our Eau Claire and Minneapolis Craigslist posts.

Not too many years ago in many of our local communities here in Wisconsin there were hundreds of small family farms.  Time brings changes, and today many of the beautiful old dairy barns around us are no longer in use.  Some barn owners have invested hard work and money into preserving these structures.  Other barns have been neglected and have deteriorated to the point that they no longer can be restored.  It seems to me that another great way to preserve the beauty and memories of our local history is to create a family heirloom or a conversation piece from some salvaged timbers or reclaimed siding.

I am excited to be a part of the process of reclaiming and preserving.  As a finish carpenter, I have been installing custom cabinetry and millwork for the last 12 years.  Recently, I have become very interested in reclaimed products and have begun to work with local dismantlers. We now have inventory of a wide selection of barnwood: Hand hewn beams, weathered siding, naily roof board and many other barn board products.  We have begun to use these products for barn doors, installing accent walls, and creating mantels and custom built-ins.  We also retail from our current inventory.  We are happy to work with customers right here in Wisconsin as well as Minnesota and beyond.

If there is any way we may be of help to you with your next project, please contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
